Position Overview

A growing pediatric practice is seeking Pediatricians and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/NP with pediatric experience to join its team.

We are currently hiring

• 2 Pediatricians – one position available immediately and another anticipated at a later date
• 1 Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner with pediatric experience
• New graduate NPs may be considered

The ideal candidates will provide comprehensive, patient-centered pediatric care and work collaboratively with physicians and clinical support staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric evaluations and physical examinations
• Assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide preventive care, wellness visits, and patient education
• Monitor patient progress and coordinate follow-up care
• Communicate effectively with patients and families
• Maintain accurate medical documentation using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and clinical support staff
• Participate in scheduled call coverage

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Option for four 10-hour shifts per week
• Call approximately 1 day per week
• One weekend call approximately every 6 weeks
• Call may involve phone and/or in-person coverage

Patient Volume & Population

• Approximately 3–4 patients per hour
• Pediatric patient population
• Spanish-speaking ability is highly preferred
• All major insurance plans accepted

Pediatrician Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified in Pediatrics required
• Active California medical license
• Candidates of all experience levels considered
• New graduates may be considered
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Spanish-speaking ability preferred
• Visa sponsorship is not available

PNP/NP Qualifications

• NP/PNP degree and appropriate certification/licensure
• Active California NP license or eligibility
• Pediatric experience preferred
• New graduate NPs may be considered
• Strong interest in pediatric patient care
• Spanish-speaking ability preferred
• Visa sponsorship is not available

Compensation

Pediatrician

• Base Salary: $180,000–$240,000 annually
• Productivity Bonus: $12,000–$14,000 based on productivity

PNP/NP

• Base Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annually
• Productivity-based incentives may apply

Relocation assistance: Available, details TBD

Sign-on bonus: Not offered
