Position Overview Type of Position: Description: Interventional Vascular Unit (IVU) - Pre/Post RN | Local Contract Shift Details Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM No on-call or holiday requirements Unit Overview The Interventional Vascular Unit (IVU) is a 16-bed pre/post area with 3 procedural rooms Serves both outpatient and inpatient populations Specializes in diagnostic and interventional procedures Collaborative team environment working closely with vascular surgeons, radiologists, cardiologists, anesthesia teams, and neuro radiologists EMR: Epic Scrubs are provided by the unit Role Responsibilities Providing pre/post patient care Assessing patient health problems and needs Providing patient education Maintaining medical records Administering moderate sedation intra-procedure IV starts and general procedure preparation Management of emergency events Maintenance of a safe patient environment Patient Ratio 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio Same nurse, same patient — start to finish Requirements BSN required 2+ years of experience ACLS and BLS certifications required Experienced PACU or Endo RN would be considered Manager is open to first-time travelers #P1
