Travel NICU Registered Nurse

🚨 Travel NICU RN – San Diego, CA | $710/Shift | 13-Week Contract

We’re seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at a Top-Ranked Children’s Hospital in San Diego.

Position Details

📍 San Diego, CA

🗓 Start Date: August 17, 2026

📅 13-Week Contract

⏰ 3x12-Hour Shifts (Days or Nights)

💰 $710 per 12-hour shift

Minimum Qualifications

✅ 2+ years of Level IV NICU experience required

✅ Strong Level III NICU experience with surgical NICU and cardiac experience may be considered

✅ Active California RN License (or pending prior to start)

✅ BLS & Advanced NRP required

✅ Previous travel experience preferred, but strong first-time travelers will be considered

Unit Highlights

• High-acuity Surgical NICU
• Care for neonates from 22 weeks gestation to term
• Surgical cases include gastroschisis, omphalocele, abdominal surgeries, myelomeningocele, tracheostomies, and G-tubes
• Experience with oscillators, conventional ventilators, CPAP, PICC lines, UAC/UVC lines, and post-operative neonatal care is highly preferred

Additional Information

• Must be flexible to float within scope to designated units and satellite NICU locations
• Flexible scheduling required, including weekends and holidays
• COVID-19 vaccine not required (flu vaccine required)
