Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in San Jose, CA, requiring a valid CA RN license and at least 1 year of recent L&D experience on night shifts.

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (must be in hand at time of consideration — pending licensure not accepted)
• Current BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent L&D experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Epic EMR experience
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• BSN preferred
• 5+ years of L&D experience within the last 2 years preferred
• 1 year of high-risk OB/L&D experience within the last 2 years preferred

Responsibilities

• Night shift position: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• 13-week contract
• Local candidates are accepted and are eligible for the same rate as traveling candidates
• Per Kaiser Permanente's HR Tenure Policy, contingent workers may not work assignments exceeding two cumulative years without taking a minimum 90-day break — this applies regardless of whether the work was continuous or across multiple assignments with short gaps
