Aesthetic Registered Nurse (RN) – Laser Specialist

Overview

As an Aesthetic Registered Nurse (RN) – Laser Specialist at BeyondSkin MedSpa, you’ll provide safe, client-focused aesthetic care with a strong emphasis on laser treatments. You’ll assess clients, explain treatment options, perform procedures within your scope of practice, and support individualized treatment planning. Your impact: delivering consistent, professional care while helping clients understand their treatment plan and expected outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess client goals, treatment suitability, skin type, and relevant medical history.
• Perform laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, and other aesthetic laser treatments within your training, authorization, and applicable requirements.
• Explain treatment plans, expected outcomes, pre-care, aftercare, and treatment intervals clearly.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
• Follow laser safety, sanitation, infection-control, and practice protocols.
• Assist with consultations, treatment planning, follow-up, and client education.
• Support a professional, welcoming client experience.
• Contribute appropriately to consultations, treatment recommendations, package education, and client retention.
• Use practice management and scheduling software as required.

Requirements

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience with aesthetic laser treatments strongly preferred.
• Experience with laser hair removal and/or laser tattoo removal highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of skin assessment, laser safety, treatment parameters, contraindications, and pre/post-treatment care.
• Strong client communication, documentation, customer service, and clinical judgment.
• Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience in a medical spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or aesthetic practice is preferred.
• Experience with aesthetic devices such as PicoSure Pro, Cutera Excel HR, Cutera Xeo, RF microneedling, or similar technologies is a plus.
• Experience with neuromodulators or dermal fillers is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 12.0 per week
