Full Time, Night Shift Registered Nurse

• Provide professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment
• Be accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe,

compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and

families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs,

and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan

• Practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in

California, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for

Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice. Key

functions and specific skills for the job are found in the unit specific on-boarding checklist and in standards that are applicable to the

specialty

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or must obtain a BSN within 3 years of hiring; or have at least 20 years of RN experience
• Unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) License- We can assist in getting you this.
• 12 months acute care oncology experience
• Current (BLS) certification for Healthcare

Providers from the American Heart Association, or the American Red

Cross

• Current VisaScreen. Apply at www.cgfns.org
• Current Canadian passport or Green Card or American Citizen

MUST have Oncology experience - acute preferred BUT.. also needs

Infusion experience (recent) which may have been in out patient situation

NIGHTs are a must.

1year experience absolutely required. Must be experience as as fully licensed RN. School clinical placements not considered part of this experience.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Oncology experience
• Chemotherapy certification
• Oncology Certified Nurse

What are the nice-to-have skills?

Possiblity to float to Med/Surg (Oncology and Med/surg are one dept) - experience AND desire to float.
