Job Details
- Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for surgical patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy.
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates care plans. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide safe, humane, and attentive patient care, including discharge planning and delegation of duties.
