Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Nurse in the Labor and Delivery Department. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to mothers and newborns in a high-acuity environment. The position requires a focused approach to high-risk obstetric cases and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
• Five (5) or more years of recent (within the last two years) experience in Labor and Delivery.
• One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years.
• High Risk Obstetrics (OB) experience is preferred.
• Additional Information:
• This position may require handling high-acuity cases involving high-risk pregnancies and newborn care.
