Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care and first aid to students throughout the school day.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following physician orders and district policies.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, screenings, and continuous symptom monitoring.
• Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans in partnership with IEP/504 teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care, medications, and health incidents in compliance with school and state regulations.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and related service providers to address student health needs.
• Act swiftly in health emergencies and assist in crisis and safety planning.
• Educate students and staff on important health topics, wellness practices, and infection control measures.
