Licensed Vocational Nurse

Exact Staff is currently hiring in McFarland, CA for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)!

Join our pediatric client's medical team in a full-time, temp-to-hire role where you'll provide direct patient care in a rewarding outpatient setting.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $30.00/HR

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes in condition to Providers
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed
• Collect samples for lab testing (blood, urine, etc.)
• Coordinate patient care including scheduling, referrals, and follow-up appointments
• Train, mentor, and evaluate Medical Assistants and Front Office staff
• Oversee medical supply inventory and ensure proper equipment maintenance
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient chart documentation
• Educate patients and families on health care and treatments
• Assist with medical procedures and examinations
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed
• Address patient concerns professionally and attend county emergency preparedness meetings

Qualifications

• Current, valid LVN license in the state of California
• Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred (outpatient or ambulatory care setting ideal)
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills
