Licensed Practical Nurse / Lvn Neuro Ambulatory Clinic

This position will split between the following clinic locations: 36750 26 Mile Rd, Suite 330 Chesterfield Twp & 11900 E. 12 Mile Rd, Suite 205 Warren.

Full Time (40 hours/wk) - 8 hour days between 8am - 5pm (some flexibility with times) - no weekends/holidays

Candidate preferences: Minimum of 1 year LPN experience working in a clinic/office setting. Neuro experience a plus. Prior authorization experience would be great.

Responsibilities Include: Supporting the provider, rooming patients, patient prep, intake, vitals, coordination of care, workflows, etc. Botox is done at both clinics.

Provides care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, functioning within scope of license. Responsibilities: Contributes to the assessment of patients and assures the well-being of patients. Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments. Performs laboratory tests and therapeutic services. Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.

CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
