Golden State Recuperative Care is a 28-bed recuperative care facility located in South Los Angeles. We provide post-acute non-clinical oversight and services for people experiencing homelessness. Our program consists of the most dedicated and skilled staff to provide the highest level of services while providing hope, dignity, and equity of care to each client.

Job Summary

You will ensure all client's needs are maintained with the highest degree of dignity, respect, compassion and integrity.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Follow policies and procedures related to documentation.
• HIPAA Competency-protect clients' privacy by ensuring resident protected health information (PHI) is not left unattended, open, or shared.
• Prepare clients for meals; serve and collect trays, assist in setting up feeding clients; serve water and nourishments when indicated.
• Complete meal assessment sheet and record intake accurately. Recognize and identify the limitation in providing care and seeks help from appropriate staff.
• Regularly check on clients to ensure comfort, dignity, and privacy.
• Memorize and implement infection control policies.
• Maintain facility cleanliness
• Prepare client room for admission; provide client orientations to the room and admission pack supplies.
• Clean room of discharging clients.
• Maintain client rooms in a neat, orderly, and clutter free environment.
• Other duties as assigned

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
