Pay Package – Travel

• Gross Weekly Estimate: $2,850
• Taxable Pay: $1,050/week
• Housing Stipend: $1,800/week

Pay Package – Local

• Gross Weekly Estimate: $2,520
• Taxable Pay: $2,520/week

Position Overview

Join a Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital in Torrance, CA, offering a revamped OR department with a strong emphasis on education and clinical learning. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operating Room RN seeking exposure to a diverse patient population and a broad range of surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist during elective, urgent, and emergent surgical procedures.
• Apply sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation knowledge, and OR protocols across multiple specialties.
• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in a Level I Trauma environment.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary surgical team.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR RN experience in a metropolitan Level I Trauma facility serving a diverse population.
• Comprehensive experience across multiple surgical specialties, including:
• Orthopedics
• Ophthalmology
• Colorectal
• ENT
• Plastic Surgery
• Gynecology
• Urology
• Vascular
• Podiatry
• Thoracic
• General Surgery

Required License and Certifications

• Active California RN license
• AHA BLS
• MAB or CPI
• LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City-issued)
