Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit: 010-638001 – Obstetrics Acute, ER, ICU , Cath Lab

Location: Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, CA

Start Date: 09/14/2026

Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Schedule: 36 or 48 hours/week

Duration: 13 weeks

EPIC Experience: Required

Job Summary

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients. The RN will assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor outcomes, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of obstetric patients and monitor changes in condition.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care according to established standards.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and promptly communicate significant changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and evaluate patient responses.
• Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care, treatment, and recovery.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate appropriate duties and coordinate activities of nursing team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC EMR.
• Promote a safe, healing, and supportive environment for patients and families.
• Provide learning opportunities and education to patients, families, and team members.
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• EPIC experience – Required
• BLS – Required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – Required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) – Required
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and patient-care skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• Previous Obstetrics/OB acute-care experience preferred.
• Previous acute-care hospital experience preferred.

Contract Details

• Start Date: September 14, 2026
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• 36 or 48 hours/week
• 13-week contract
• EPIC experience is mandatory

Pay: $52.49 - $63.21 per hour
