Bring Your LPN Experience to Emergency Nursing

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Level 1 Emergency Department on the Full-Time Day Shift.

This is a fast-paced acute-care environment caring for patients with urgent, emergent, and complex medical needs. We’re looking for LPNs who can provide strong hands-on care, work effectively as part of an emergency nursing team, and respond confidently when patient needs and priorities change quickly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide direct nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Obtain and document vital signs and clinical information
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Perform clinical procedures appropriate to LPN scope and competency
• Observe patients and promptly report changes in condition
• Assist with specimen collection, testing, treatments, and patient care
• Work closely with RNs, physicians, and other members of the Emergency Department team
