Nursing Attendant - West LA - Full Time Days

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Attendant to join our team in West LA on a full-time basis, working day shifts. As a Nursing Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing basic nursing care and support to our patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. Provide compassionate care to patients and their families during their stay at Kaiser Permanente.

Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge process of patients.

Monitor and report changes in patient's condition to the registered nurse.

Help patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.

Administer basic nursing procedures under the guidance of a registered nurse.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Assist in the transportation of patients to different areas of the hospital.

Document patient care and observations accurately and timely.

Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development.

Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.

Comply with infection control and safety protocols.

Follow all state and federal regulations related to patient care and safety.

Maintain a high level of competency and knowledge regarding nursing procedures and techniques.

Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing supervisor or manager.
