Nursing – Orthopedic Surgery

Schedule

4 x 10 hour shifts, potentially 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM, based on department needs. Weekend shifts required, including one 8 hour shift every 3rd weekend and holiday coverage.

Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Must be willing to take call and arrive within 30 minutes upon notification.
• Ability to work late calls to complete cases.
• Must cover one L1, one L2, and one L3 call per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the surgical setting.
• Assist in orthopedic and general surgery cases.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately during procedures.
