MediPro is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Sylmar, California.

Minimum of one (1) recent PACU nursing experience in a community-based acute care hospital.

RNs must have worked in a Recovery Room, providing ICU-level care to post-procedural patients, and have successfully completed formal training in post-anesthesia care.

RNs must have experience caring for patients recovering from procedures originating from various areas, including the OR, IR, Cath Lab, GI, ECT, and pain procedures, as well as Orthopedics, Robotics, Opthalmology, Colorectal, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic, and General Surgery.

RNs must be skilled in monitoring patients' vital signs, managing post-anesthesia complications, administering medications, and providing patient and family education

RNs must be adaptable, knowledgeable in PACU protocols and patient safety measures, and able to anticipate and respond to the needs of recovering surgical patients to ensure a safe and efficient recovery process.

Certifications: CA RN license, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, MAB or CPI, LA Fire Card
