Nurse Practitioner

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Salary: $130,000 to $149,000 annually

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a community focused healthcare team providing high quality primary care to a diverse patient population.

This role is ideal for an NP who values compassionate, inclusive care and is comfortable working with patients from a wide range of backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community. You will provide comprehensive patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team.Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive primary care services

Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients

Provide patient education and preventive care

Discuss sexual health concerns in a professional, nonjudgmental, and sex positive manner

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Deliver culturally competent and patient centered care

Support the organization's commitment to serving diverse and underserved communitiesRequired Qualifications:

RN and Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner degree

Active Nurse Practitioner license in the State of California

Federal DEA registration

Active furnishing license

Primary care experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team

Knowledge of or experience working with the LGBTQ+ community

Understanding of healthcare issues relevant to LGBTQ+ patients

Demonstrated ability to provide respectful care to patients across diverse cultural, socioeconomic, racial, ethnic, religious, gender, and identity backgrounds

Ability to pass an FBI background checkPreferred Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in Nursing or a related field

Experience in a community health or primary care clinic

Experience serving underserved populations

Bilingual or multilingual skills

Experience working with electronic health record systems

BLS certification

ACLS certification

Additional certifications or experience in mental health or related specialtiesWhat We Are Looking For:
