Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion & Injection (Part-time)

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable mentoring and coordinating a clinical team. The ideal candidate is self-directed, dependable, and willing to travel to multiple locations across the greater Sacramento area.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, manage, and oversee IV therapy services, including patient assessment, line placement, infusion monitoring, and documentation
• Provide comprehensive infusion and injection therapy services, including patient assessment, medication administration, monitoring, and treatment documentation.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate clinical team members; support training and quality standards
• Collaborate closely with physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Travel to assigned sites within a 45-mile radius of the greater Sacramento and Yuba City area
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Uphold patient safety, infection control, and quality-of-care standards at all times

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California RN license in good standing
• 5–10 years of RN experience with expertise in infusion and injection therapy.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a clinical team
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within a 45-mile radius
• Current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and clinical expertise, with an hourly range of $36 to $56. Rates at the higher end of the range are reserved for candidates with extensive infusion and injection therapy experience, specialty certifications, and demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.

Pay: $36.00 - $56.00 per hour
