Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a 13-week Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) travel assignment in Alturas, California. The LVN will provide individualized nursing care, medication administration, treatments, assessments, patient education, and support for residents in collaboration with physicians, RNs, CNAs, residents, and families.

Mandatory Requirements to Apply

• Active California LVN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent SNF/LTC nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS/BCLS certification
• Strong patient assessment and clinical skills
• Experience with medication administration, treatments, and nursing documentation
• Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work all assigned shifts

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care and perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
• Monitor patient conditions, identify changes, and promptly notify the appropriate nurse/physician
• Perform nursing procedures, including EKGs, blood draws, IV starts, specimen collection, and wound care as assigned
• Document assessments, medications, treatments, interventions, and patient progress accurately
• Provide patient/family education and maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality

• Blended Hourly Pay Rate (W2): $61.12
• Weekly Pay Rate (W2): $2,200.00

Pay Breakdown

• Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $27.00
• Minimum Hourly Stipend: $34.12
• Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $972.00
• Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,228.34
