Develop and implement data loss prevention strategies and protocols to protect sensitive information for the state and its citizens.
Monitor and analyze data traffic to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective data protection measures.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in the system and recommend solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to continuously improve data loss prevention strategies.
Create and maintain documentation of data loss prevention policies, procedures, and standards.
Investigate and respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
Train and educate employees on data loss prevention best practices and procedures.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and policies.
Act as a subject matter expert on data loss prevention and provide guidance to other team members.
Collaborate with external vendors and partners to implement and maintain data loss prevention tools and systems.
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning related to data loss prevention.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external agencies on data loss prevention initiatives and strategies.
