
Critical Care Registered Nurse | Los Angeles, California
Experienced registered nurses with an ICU background are invited to deliver high-quality, coordinated care for diverse patient populations. In this critical care float pool role, youll utilize strong clinical judgment to supervise nursing staff, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure safe, compassionate outcomes. This role supports ICU nursing care and educational activities within a reputable healthcare setting.

Requirements
- Active RN license with a focus on ICU practice
- Demonstrated expertise in critical care environments
- Strong data assessment, diagnostic, and plan-of-care development skills
- Experience supervising, delegating, and coordinating nursing teams
- Knowledge of current nursing standards and best practices
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Full compliance with facility immunization requirements (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate evidence-based critical care to assigned patients
- Collect and analyze pertinent health data to guide diagnosis and intervention strategies
- Develop patient-centered care plans, implement treatments, and regularly evaluate progress
- Promote and maintain a safe, healing environment for patients and their families
- Advocate for patient needs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients, families, and team members; provide health information and support throughout care processes
- Support smooth transitions through discharge planning and continuity-of-care efforts
- Appropriately delegate and direct tasks to nursing staff as needed
- Participate in ongoing professional development and adhere to all organizational safety standards
