LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Looking for a full-time LPN to join our busy, growing pediatric practice in Worcester, MA. We have 4 doctors and 2 nurse practitioners.

Job duties: Greet patients and escort to exam rooms. Take vital signs, brief history and check medications and pharmacy. Update medication list in computer deleting unnecessary medications no longer in use. Document all information in computer.

Assess needs of patient, administer medications and vaccines as needed. Document all information in computer.

Perform urine tests, strep tests, vision and hearing screenings, ear cleanings with water pik system and catheterization of patients if needed. Review all strep cultures, documents meaningful use and approve lab fax. Administer O2 or perform CPR as needed.

Educate patients and family members on nebulizer treatments and inhaler use. Assist moms with breast-feeding.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
