We're Hiring! Experienced Pelvic Health Physical Therapist

COVA Physical Therapy | Solana Beach, CA | $52–$65/hour

Love treating patients, staying active, and continually challenging yourself as a clinician—but not the business side of physical therapy?

At COVA, movement is central to everything we do. Our team is passionate about helping people build strength, improve performance, and stay active throughout their lives. We bring that same enthusiasm for movement, lifelong learning, and personal growth to our work every day.

Have you considered opening your own practice—or discovered that running a business takes time away from what you love most? At COVA, you can enjoy the clinical autonomy and personalized care of private practice without the responsibilities of business ownership.

We're seeking an experienced Pelvic Health Physical Therapist who shares our enthusiasm for active living, evidence-informed practice, and exceptional patient outcomes.

Why COVA?
  • One-on-one patient care: Dedicated 55-minute appointments. No double booking or high-volume productivity pressure.
  • Clinical autonomy: Enjoy the independence and creativity of private practice without managing the business.
  • An active, movement-focused environment: We believe rehabilitation should go beyond symptom management to restore strength, confidence, and physical capacity. Our clinicians integrate hands-on treatment with progressive exercise and functional movement.
  • A culture of lifelong learning: Our clinicians are passionate about advancing their skills through continuing education, team in-services, collaborative case reviews, and applying current research.
  • Collaborative environment: Work alongside experienced orthopedic and pelvic health specialists who value clinical excellence.
  • Beyond traditional pelvic health: Integrate progressive strength training, Pilates, movement assessment, and performance-based rehabilitation.
  • Modern clinical setting: Access to Pilates equipment, strength training tools, and our Human Performance & Longevity Lab.
  • Work-life balance: Flexible scheduling in a supportive, independently owned practice.
Who We're Looking For

An experienced pelvic health clinician who can confidently manage an independent caseload, enjoys movement-based rehabilitation, and is committed to continued professional growth.

  • California PT license required
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience specializing in pelvic health
  • Advanced pelvic health certification (PRPC or WCS) preferred
  • CSCS or equivalent preferred
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication skills, and commitment to evidence-informed care
  • Enthusiasm for active living, exercise, and helping patients pursue physically demanding goals
  • Passion for continuing education, professional collaboration, and sharing knowledge with colleagues
  • Confidence with progressive strength training, functional movement assessment, and exercise prescription

Ideal candidates have experience treating:

  • Pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, and prolapse
  • Pelvic pain and sexual pain conditions
  • Pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation
  • Perimenopause and menopause-related concerns
  • Orthopedic conditions affecting women's health and physical activity
Physical Demands of the Position

COVA is an active, hands-on clinical environment. In addition to pelvic health treatment, our clinicians may participate in functional movement assessments, strength testing, and Human Performance & Longevity Lab services (training provided).

Essential physical responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating, instructing, and supervising therapeutic exercises and functional movements
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, and reaching during patient care and testing
  • Handling and positioning exercise and testing equipment, including lifting or moving loads up to 50 pounds when required
  • Assisting patients safely during movement assessments and therapeutic activities

These responsibilities must be performed safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $52–$65/hour, based on experience
  • Bonus opportunities
  • W-2 employment
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Continuing education support and professional development opportunities
  • Regular team in-services and collaborative case reviews
  • Potential for growth within our expanding women's health program
