1:1 Licensed Vocational Nurse

Role: 1:1 School LVN

Provide direct, individualized nursing care to a student in an educational setting.

• Monitor vital signs and document observations accurately
• Administer medications and carry out prescribed treatments per care plans and district policies
• Support chronic and acute health needs while maintaining student safety and comfort
• Respond to medical emergencies following established protocols
• Collaborate with school nurses, educators, families, and clinical staff to coordinate care
• Promote health, safety, inclusion, and the student’s ability to learn

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN) with strong clinical judgment
• Ability to follow care plans, medication protocols, and district policies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders
• Comfort with emergency response and ongoing health monitoring
