A Per Diem Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in an acute care hospital in Los Angeles, California. The unit uses Allscripts EMD and is transitioning to Epic, supporting a fast-paced emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and prioritize care in the emergency department
• Monitor vital signs and clinical status for varied acuity
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Assist with emergency interventions and stabilization measures
• Document care and communicate changes to the care team

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of emergency department experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• Epic experience
• CPI, MAB, or SAAM training
