Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Active and unrestricted LVN/LPN license in California
• Previous experience working with children or in a school environment preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to remain patient, compassionate, and attentive to detail
• Proficiency in medication administration and monitoring health conditions

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated, individualized nursing care to a student during school hours
• Monitor and manage the student’s health status, including medication administration and daily treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate regularly with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers
• Respond to health emergencies, delivering immediate and appropriate care
• Foster a safe and nurturing environment that supports academic and social success
• Participate in planning and implementing care plans according to Individualized Education Program (IEP) requirements
