Desired Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric settings preferred
• Ability to conduct a variety of student health screenings (vision, hearing, scoliosis, etc.)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with children, educators, and families
• Organized, adaptable, and able to work independently

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and as-needed health screenings for students
• Assess and address minor injuries and acute medical needs
• Partner with school staff to manage chronic illnesses and medical plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and health records
• Educate students and staff on proper health and wellness practices
• Support compliance with all district and state health regulations
