The Osborne Institute of Healthcare Education is seeking an experienced, proactive Registered Nurse to serve as our RN Program Director for a new California Nurse Assistant Training Program.

This position requires someone who can actively guide and support the Administrator throughout the initial CDPH approval process. We are specifically seeking a candidate who is knowledgeable about CDPH Nurse Assistant Training Program requirements and comfortable reviewing application materials, curriculum, policies and procedures, instructor documentation, clinical requirements, and online/LMS course preparation.

This is an opportunity to help build a new healthcare education program from the ground up while providing regulatory oversight and guidance throughout the approval process.

This is a flexible, part-time position with opportunities for growth as student enrollment increases.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the Nurse Assistant Training Program.
• Ensure compliance with California Department of Public Health (CDPH) regulations.
• Assist with the Nurse Assistant Training Program approval process and ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Review and oversee curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
• Provide guidance and supervision to instructors as needed.
• Monitor student progress and support program quality improvement.
• Coordinate with clinical partner facilities regarding student clinical experiences.
• Participate in program development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain required program documentation and records.
• Serve as the RN Program Director for the Nurse Assistant Training Program.

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Meets California qualifications to serve as a Nurse Assistant Training Program Program Director.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or nurse aide education preferred.
• Director of Staff Development (DSD) certification is preferred or the ability to obtain it if required.
• Knowledge of California Department of Public Health regulations governing Nurse Assistant Training Programs is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passion for educating and mentoring future healthcare professionals.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
