Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Duration: 8 Weeks only

Shift: 12-hour shifts – Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays

Pay Rate: $65 to $ 70\Hr

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90033

Job Summary

• We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) to provide advanced nursing care to critically ill and medically complex newborns, including premature infants and neonates requiring specialized medical or surgical interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous monitoring and critical care to critically ill newborns.
• Care for premature infants and neonates with congenital anomalies or complex medical conditions.
• Manage ventilator support, medications, and other life-sustaining treatments.
• Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care as required.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Provide education and emotional support to families.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Preferably 3 years of recent Level III NICU experience in a medical center serving a diverse metropolitan population.
• Current AHA BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification.
• Valid Los Angeles City Fire and Life Safety Card.
• Completion of LA County Employee Health Clearance before the assignment start date.
• Must be fully committed to completing the entire 8-week assignment.
